After a very stressful week, I took advantage of my birthday gift card to Above All Grand Salon & Spa in Wexford. Having never been to a spa before, nor had a massage, and only having my nails done about 4 times in my life, this was a real treat. I booked an hour long hybrid massage. This combines a full range of massage techniques including Swedish, Reiki & Deep Tissue with warm towels and aromatherapy oils.
Located in a strip mall area off of Route 19 in Wexford, near Whole Foods, the inside of the space seems to be inspired by a Tuscan Villa. Warm browns and golden tones are found throughout the tiles, wall colors, fixtures and decor. I was surprised at how spacious the salon and spa areas were, compete with 3 receptionist, they have a lot going on here!
My massage was very enjoyable. My masseuse really did focus on the areas I had requested, where I had been holding my stress all week in my neck, shoulders and back. Now I am finding myself wanting to return every month for needed therapy. I also feel it might be in my favor to send my BF when he becomes too much of a crabby pants. This refresh might just be necessary to help us both stay sane. I would encourage anyone in the market for spa treatments to check out Above All Grand Salon & Spa in Wexford!
